Arizona loses in rivalry game
Arizona lost to archrival ASU on Saturday by a final score of 28-14. The football team finished its regular season with a record of 6-6. Although the Wildcats lost five other games, Saturday's loss to ASU most likely hurt fans the most.
Quarterback Willie Tuitama had almost two quarters of steady play before leaving the game with a head injury for the second consecutive week. Before exiting the game, Tuitama had completed eight of 12 passes for 49 yards and one touchdown.
His replacement, senior Adam Austin, had a less than stellar performance. Austin completed 12 of 31 passes for 99 yards and threw one touchdown against two interceptions.
