Francois turns attention to recruiting
It was definitely not how he wanted to end his prep career.
A member of the top-seeded team in the Class 5A playoffs, East St. John linebacker Stefoin Francois' prep career ended this past Friday when the Wildcats loss to the Rummel Raiders, 59-7 in the state quarterfinals.
The 6-2, 210-pound Francois is a four-star player according to Rivals.com and is rated as the eighth-best safety in America.
"It hit me as soon as the game was over," Francois said. "It was one of those games were they (Rummel) just got off to such a hot start. We tried to fight back, but they (Rummel) just put us in such a hole. We were playing from behind the entire game.
