Four star wide receiver Roderick Davis got an in-home visit from Ole Miss recruiting coordinator Hugh Freeze on Monday evening.

Freeze is well known in Memphis where Davis plays at Wooddale High School after coaching Briarcrest Christian for several years and Davis was impressed with what Freeze had to say.

"Coach Freeze is a great guy," Davis said. "He sat down with my mom and me and discussed everything about going to college step by step. They really stress academics there and my mom loved that. He wanted me to see how things would be when I'm a student athlete there."
