It became more of a formality in recent days that one of the top offensive tackles from the Mission Conference was going to pull the trigger and commit to Oregon State. Today he made the call and is excited about the next two years in Corvallis.

Santa Ana (Calif.) Santa Ana College offensive tackle Jon Ioane is a big and powerful offensive lineman with unusually quick feet. Ioane played tight end in high school before playing at Orange Coast College in 2004 and redshirting at Orange Coast in 2005. He received his first offer from Oregon State in May, his second from Iowa State in October, and has reached a verdict in December.
