SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Wendell (N.C.) East Wake star cornerback Dominique Ellis did not get the attention he thought he deserved from North Carolina early in the recruiting process, which initially turned him off to the Tar Heels.

Things have changed over the past month, however, to the point where Ellis has now set up an official visit in Chapel Hill.

"I have set one (an official visit) up for UNC on (January) 19th," he said.

In addition to North Carolina, Ellis indicated that he will definitely visit N.C. State, the school he originally committed to, and potentially a few others.
