Coaches, academic support sell Jeremiah on State
As the architect of a national championship defense at Ohio State, Michigan State head coach Mark Dantonio was accustomed to having the cream of the crop from the state of Ohio to work with.
A little more than two weeks into his tenure as Spartan head coach, Dantonio is starting to stockpile talent from the Buckeye State at a rate unparalleled by any of his predecessors in East Lansing.
With the commitment of four-star defensive tackle Antonio Jeremiah , Dantonio and his staff have placed a flagstone for the future of the Michigan State defense. Jeremiah's commitment is also proving former Buckeye linebacker Chris Spielman prophetic in his prediction of immediate recruiting success in Ohio for Michigan State the day Dantonio was hired.
