Five-foot-eleven, 185-pound Thomas Merriweather used his 4.4 speed on
the field well this year for Hazelwood East in St. Louis.

Now it is time to get serious about his college decision with the Feb. 7 signing date approaching fast.

His top four choices are Kansas, Northern Illinois, Miami (Ohio) and Ball State.
