Gators add much needed big back
The University of Florida has been hitting the recruiting trail in the southern part of the state looking to land a back for Urban Meyer's spread option offense. On Wednesday that effort finally paid off with the commitment of Oakland Park (Fla.) Northeast big back Bo Williams. The 6-foot-1, 203-pound Rivals250 prospect, who had over 40 offers, chose Florida over Florida State and Pitt.
On Tuesday evening Williams informed GatorBait.net of the reason behind his commitment.
"It was going to either be Florida, Florida State or Pitt," said Williams. "I get asked why those three. It was because I liked the cities and I thought I could trust all three of the coaches recruiting me from those schools."
