The Pitt football team picked up its 20th commitment from the class of 2007 on Thursday when Erie Strong Vincent athlete Maurice Williams decided that he wanted to be a Panther. Williams had been recruited by Pitt defensive coordinator Paul Rhoads.

Williams, 6-0, 184 pounds, had reportedly been close to committing to Pitt in recent weeks but was interested in taking a final official visit to Iowa in mid-January.
