Top junior LB visited bowl practices

TheWolverine.com Gateway High School in Monroeville, Pa., and head coach Terry Smith are certainly no strangers to top flight Division I football talent. The school has produced the likes of current Penn State cornerback Justin King and three-star class of 2007 receiver Jon Ditto. Their class of 2008 features another strong group including a linebacker who will be one of the best at his position in the country.
Shayne Hale stands in a 6-4 and 225 pounds and runs in the 4.5 range for the 40-yard dash. He has already fielded scholarship offers from the likes of Tennessee, Ohio State, Michigan, West Virginia and North Carolina and appears well on his way to a lofty ranking next summer. Those prospective accolades have not gone to his head yet, though.
