Tyrone (Ga.) Sandy Creek defensive end Fred Jones made an official visit to Marshall during the weekend and is closing in on a final decision.

"I am going to make my decision Wednesday," Jones said.

Jones is considering the Thundering Herd, Indiana and Central Florida. The 6-foot-4, 220-pounder enjoyed his official visit to Huntingdon during the weekend and says that Marshall did a great job to draw even with the Hoosiers, who led following last weekend's official visit to Bloomington.
