Compton (Calif.) College offensive lineman Eldridge Sims signed with Ron Prince's Kansas State Wildcats in December and was announced by the school as a signee at the time.

Then the spring semester started and the Los Angeles-area native was not in Manhattan, but the Wildcats are still in the plans for the three-star tackle.

Maher said the situation at K-State is a good one for the 6-foot-6, 288-pound Sims.
