Jeffers enjoys Oklahoma junior day
It's been a little while since the state of Oklahoma had a running back that was receiving heavy attention coming into his junior year, but that's exactly what is happening with Lawton Eisenhower speedster Harrison Jeffers. The 5-foot-9, 195-pound track champion has already picked up an offer from Wyoming and looks to have more to come.
The next in like of the great Eagle running backs made it up to Norman this weekend and says the Sooners are interested but, along with several other schools, are wanting to see some results from his ACT testing.
"It went cool, they had me come up early on Saturday morning," Jeffers said. "The coaches were showing me around. They were real honest telling me where I stand.
"They were saying the three backs they like are me, Justin Johnson and Sam McGuffie. They said things might change once I get my ACT taken care of. I'm not worried about it though, I just need to take it, I'll be fine once I do."
