Ros pays Athens another visit for Junior Day
Bryce Ros has visited Georgia many times in the past. His father Frank Ros played for Georgia's National Championship team of 1980, so Ros knows a lot about what the Bulldogs have to offer. Georgia had many visitors on campus this past Saturday for Junior Day and Ros was one of them. He knew what to expect for the most part, but he did take some things away from the visit as well.
"It was the same basic stuff I already knew about," said Ros. "I have been to Georgia so many times and I have seen everything they have there, so it was hard to find anything new."
He did find out that he had a new recruiting coach for his area now.
"It used to be Coach Mike Bobo that recruited the area I am in, but I found out that it is going to be Coach Stacy Searels now. I talked to Coach Searels during my visit and I really like him. We talked about a lot of different things and he seems like a real nice guy."
Ros spent some time with the Georgia tight end's coach as well at Junior Day.
"I know Coach David Johnson pretty well already," he said. "He sat right behind me at the Georgia-Auburn basketball game and we talked a lot. We talked about Martrez Milner and where he is going to go in the draft and things like that. We just talked about that and football in general."
The time in Athens for Ros was spent mostly getting to know the coaches, but he was hoping to land an offer while there.
"That really didn't come up much at all," Ros said. "I know I need to be patient and I think UGA may come around. I am just going to keep working hard and staying patient. I am going to get my highlight tape out soon, so things may start happening then."
