Humphrey won't wait long
Defensive tackle Jarvis Humphrey is undeniably one of the top players in the class of 2008. The Cedar Hill product is considered one of the top 250 players in the nation and one of the top defensive tackles in the state.
Despite playing the nose tackle position on a 3-man front, Humphrey was still highly active, logging 17 tackles for loss, 37 tackles, and 20 quarterback pressures. This standout campaign, coupled with his tremendous ability, have made him one of the more highly recruited prospects in the state.
To date, he has received written offers from Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Miami, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and several others.
