Cedar Hill defensive tackle Jarvis Humphrey took an unofficial visit to Oklahoma State last weekend, and on Sunday night the blue-chip defender said he was about a week away from deciding between the Cowboys and the Texas Longhorns.
It turns out, Humphrey didn't need a full week after all.
On Tuesday evening, after discussing his options with Cedar Hill head coach Joey McGuire on Monday, Humphrey put in a call to the Texas coaches and became the Horns' 16th commitment for the 2008 class.
While both schools had plenty of positives, Humphrey said Texas simply felt like the right place after he broke down each school.
