Mathis has a mean streak

IrishIllustrated.com Last season, Detroit, Mich., offensive lineman Donald Mathis helped lead Crockett High to an 8-3 record and an appearance in the city and state playoffs. Though he spent most of his time snapping the ball, the 6-foot-3, 310-pounder prefers another position along the line.
"I played center mostly, but I played a little bit of guard and tackle too," Mathis said. "I prefer guard."
Mathis uses his strength and size to dominate his opponent.
"I'm strong and I have a little mean streak in me," he said. "On the field, I just try to play hard and win games."
