Oklahoma back enjoys meeting Peterson
One of this week's most notable visitors during Oklahoma's first public scrimmage was Midwest City (Okla.) Carl Albert running back David Oku who figures to be in contention to be the state's top prospect in the class of 2009 as well as a lofty Rivals100 ranking.
Oku took in a practice last Saturday, and returned to Norman for the scrimmage on Wednesday.
However, there is no doubt what the highlight of both trips to Norman was for the 5-foot-10, 180-pound junior-to-be.
Schools showing interest include Auburn, Oklahoma, LSU, Texas Tech and Duke.
