Panther head football coach Dave Wannstedt has indicated he would like to see his staff recruiting Maryland and Northern Virginia a little harder this year. One prospect the staff is looking at is cornerback Cameron Chism (6' 0" 175) from Bishop McNamara in Forestville, Maryland.

Pitt has given Chism an early scholarship offer as has Maryland, Syracuse and Connecticut. Chism has also drawn interest from Michigan, Nebraska, Kansas State and Iowa State.
