Auburn back at Lincoln for top DB prospect
It's not easy for a college to go into Lincoln High School in Tallahassee, Fla. and pull a top prospect away from nearby Florida State.
Historically, the Seminoles have had their pick of Trojan standouts. However, that hasn't kept other schools from trying, and occasionally landing a recruit or two.
Two years ago, Auburn went to Lincoln and signed one of the top linebackers in the country in Craig Stevens. Signing Stevens has since opened up the door at Lincoln for the Tigers, who returned in 2007 and signed two more Trojans, DL Tim Lamb and DB Mike Slade.
In 2008, AU is back at Lincoln and pursuing one of the best cornerbacks in America in T.J. Bryant. With three former teammates already on the Plains, or headed that way, the Tigers are high on Bryant's list.
