Offensive skill positions impress Erickson

ASUDevils.com An extremely windy day didn't slow down Arizona State's Tuesday spring practice. Facing what coach Dennis Erickson called a "3-club wind" that he joked would require a Tiger Woods knock down 3-iron, the Sun Devils focused heavily on fundamentals and specials teams work early in the afternoon, and then transitioned to a spirited 11-on-11 session at the end.
"I think our players kind of liked it," Erickson said of the unusually windy conditions. "It was a little cooler. I don't think our quarterbacks liked it. I've coached in the wind many times. You got to throw it a little firmer and let it go."
