Texas safety adds offers, names leader

Celina (Texas) safety D'Anton Lynn has already gathered four scholarship offers, despite only playing in one regular season game and six playoff games as a junior.

Lynn, 6-foot-1, 185 pounds, 4.5 seconds in the 40-yard dash, has offers to Arkansas, UCLA, Texas Tech and Iowa. His father, Anthony Lynn, is now an assistant coach with the Cleveland Browns, but he coached at Dallas with Arkansas offensive coordinator David Lee. Lee worked some with the younger Lynn, who plays quarterback, running back, outside linebacker, safety and cornerback at Salina.

"I'm coming up to Arkansas' scrimmage on April 7th," Lynn said Wednesday night. "Coach Lee is a good person, and I like him."
