Pullman Practice Report - Day Six

WazzuWatch.com On the day before the first spring scrimmage, the WSU football team took all their pads off in Thursday's practice. It might have been relieving without pads on a beautiful afternoon in the Palouse, but the Cougars still managed to break a sweat while focusing on the passing and kicking games.
The practice opened up with the kickers putting their legs into kickoffs from the 30-yard line. This season, all college football teams will lineup and kickoff from the 30, which is deeper than the 35 that was previously used.
A big part of [the spring] is going to be kickoffs," senior-to-be Romeen Abdollmohammadi said. "They just moved it back to the 30-yard line, so it will be a big part of what I will be working on until next season."
