The Gopher Nation Celebration isn't scheduled to start until Saturday but there was a major explosion down at the football complex today. The state of Minnesota's top defensive prospect for the 2008 class decided to end the recruiting process and committed to the Gopher program. Champlin Park linebacker Sam Maresh turned down offers from Michigan, Iowa, Wisconsin and Miami to stay home and play for Tim Brewster.
