Longhorns going after one of nation's best
With 18 current commitments for the 2008 recruiting class, the Texas Longhorns are looking for a few good men to close out the class.
A playmaker here, a defensive end there and a couple of big-time linebackers should be the cherry on top of the sundae for Mack Brown and his staff.
After going into the state of Colorado to steal one of the nation's top safeties in Denver Mullen star Nolan Brewster, it appears that the Longhorns are making a play at another prep sensation from the Centennial State.
Meet Parker (CO) Ponderosa linebacker Jon Major.
The 6-foot-4, 230-pound linebacker is one of the nation's most highly recruited players and on Tuesday night he confirmed that the Longhorns are seriously pursuing him.
