Brenham athlete Lester Ward, Jr. has received offers from Baylor and Nebraska, and UCLA and Oklahoma State are keeping tabs on his progress throughout the spring.

Ward has been working hard in the weight room preparing for spring ball. He did suffer a minor setback during track season but that has not hindered his progression.

In fact if anything the injury has helped him focus more.
