Sleeper WR emerges in Louisiana

A sleeper has emerged in Louisiana. Port Allen High wide receiver Damion Dixon has an early offer from a Southeastern Conference program and is getting serious attention from a number of other BCS Conference schools.

The 6-foot-4, 187-pounder holds a written scholarship offer from Auburn and LSU, Oklahoma State, Connecticut and a number of other programs have expressed serious interest.

"He's by far the best wide receiver I've coached," Port Allen head coach Guy Blanchard said. "He's a great kid with a great work ethic. And he's one of the most unselfish players you will find."

Blanchard remembers an example of Dixon's excellent attitude from this past season.
