Coleman gaining steam
Texas A&M loses a number of veteran defensive linemen this year such as end Chris Harrington and tackles Red Bryant and Henry Smith.
Therefore, it's imperative for the A&M coaching staff to land a strong defensive line class to replace those contributors. Although it may not be imperative that the newcomers should come in and contribute right away, commits like Rod Davis of Aldine Eisenhower and Tony Jerod are certainly capable of doing so.
Another prospect that has been under the radar screen is Fort Bend Marshall defensive tackle Jeremy Coleman. The 6-foot-2, 245-pound Coleman is hearing from a number of schools and already has offers from Baylor, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech and TCU. Texas A&M, Texas and Oklahoma are showing heavy interest.
