Davis solid to Aggies
The impressive early haul for Texas A&M in the class of 2008 has taken quite a hit recently. Late last week, the Aggies saw three of their pledges de-commit. All three were from the Greater Houston Area.
With the A&M staff garnering many commitments from the region in what is arguably the city's top group of talent in years, many wondered if the de-commitments would impact other top prospects in the city. One player in particular from the area is at one of the biggest need positions for the Aggies in 2008
Houston Eisenhower defensive tackle Rod Davis was a very early commit that seemingly got lost in the shuffle as the commitments quickly came pouring in during late January and early February. However, when the 6-foot-2, 300-pound Davis' film was released it became evident that Davis is one of the top tackles in the state.
