Smithfield (Va.) running back/wide receiver Dyrell Roberts (6-foot-2, 190 pounds, 4.45 pounds) is one of the top players in the state of Virginia for 2008. The Cavaliers were the first to offer Roberts but it is about to get crowded in that regard. As the evaluation begins, Smithfield High School has been a hot spot for college coaches trying to get a closer look at the offensive dynamo.

Schools showing interest include Virginia Tech, Florida State, Florida, Georgia, Rutgers and Vanderbilt.
