Prater focuses on three
Balancing baseball and the world of football recruiting has been tough on Kerrville (TX) Tivy's Kyle Prater (6-2, 210 pounds, 4.5/40), but the linebacker has still found the time to narrow his scope to focus on three schools. Prater, who is being recruited by LSU special teams and linebackers coach Bradley Dale Peveto, said the Tigers are definitely one of his early favorites.
"I'm pretty serious about LSU," he said. "The only two real visits I've made, unofficially, were to LSU and Oklahama. They were both great places that you can say great things about. They're up there in my top two."
The linebacker said he had a great time on his visit to LSU, and that he had a chance to meet with several coaches and players while he was there. Prater is also giving the Cornhuskers of the Nebraska a good look, and said he is trying to work in an unofficial visit to Lincoln sometime soon.
