Indiana wants him, so do the Bruins
Perhaps the farthest-traveled visitor at UCLA's scrimmage game under the lights last Friday evening was 6-foot-5, 260- pound from Crown Point, Ind., offensive lineman Kurt Wermers.
In what might almost resemble the oft-parodied Howard Dean speech which railed off a litany of nearly every state in the Union, Wermers and his parents, have similarly visited the campuses of nearly every Big Ten School, as well as Notre Dame, Cincinnati, Bowling Green, and now UCLA.
The result is a very victorious 10 offers and even that tally could change before this story goes to print.
Wermers has received written offers from Michigan, Michigan State, Indiana, Bowling Green, Cincinnati, Northwestern, Iowa, Notre Dame and now UCLA.
