After adding their first commitment in March in running back Isaac Johnson, Boston College acquired some help for him on the offensive line yesterday. The second pledge in the class of 2008 for the Eagles came from Cambridge (Mass.) Buckingham Browne & Nichols offensive tackle Nick Halloran.

"He actually committed to them yesterday, Friday," Halloran's mom, Judy said. "I know he visited there a couple months ago and was blown away with the college, football program and academic program.
