The WPIAL was well represented at the State College Nike Camp on Saturday. Trinity's Mike Yancichwas named MVP of the linebackers, and the overall MVP was Jared Rains from Hopewell. This is the second accolade Rains has earned this off-season. Earlier this spring, Rains captured the individual points title at the annual M.A.C. weightlifting competition.

The result of Rains' performance at State College remains to be seen. He already holds offers from Cincinnati and Ohio University, and both teams have indicated to him he can play offense or defense for them.
