Mattes makes presence felt at Combine
RALEIGH, N.C. - There were plenty of folks at the Adidas Combine at N.C. State on Saturday that wanted to face off against the state's top offensive lineman; Concord (N.C.) Robinson offensive tackle R.J. Mattes. Mattes took on all comers, and solidified his reputation as a mauler in the trenches.

Recruiting has gotten crazy in recent weeks for the 6-7, 265-pounder, who currently holds offers from several college programs in the Southeast, including Clemson, Duke, Miami (FL), North Carolina, N.C. State, South Carolina, Virginia, Wake Forest, and East Carolina.
