Defense is for Brown
Chevis Jackson and Jonathan Zenon, the projected LSU starters at cornerback are seniors this year.
Time to start replenishing the secondary.
The LSU coaching staff is hoping to pluck one of the top cover corners out of the talent-rich State of Florida in Boone High School product Jeremy Brown.
The 5-10, 163-pound Brown already has offers on the table from Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Georgia, Miami, Notre Dame, South Carolina, Tennessee and Wisconsin in addition to his offer from Les Miles' staff.
Being recruited by LSU assistant coach Doug Mallory, Brown said that he stays in contact with the LSU coach and most recently talked with Mallory last week. While he is unsure about whether or not he will attend a summer camp at LSU this summer, Brown said that he does hope to try and make an unofficial visit to the Baton Rouge campus.
