Lynn is open to UCLA
Andrew Friedman
BruinSportsReport.com UCLA loves to dip into Texas and steal a top recruit when they can. They already grabbed RB Aundre Dean this recruiting cycle. Another prospect they are after from the Lone Star State is athlete D'Anton Lynn (6-2, 185, 4.48) from Celina HS. Lynn has ten offers at this point and is thinking about a Westwood visit this summer.
As a junior, Lynn was a do-it-all player for Celina. At running back, he rushed for 340 yards and eight touchdowns, at quarterback he passed for 150 yards and a score, and he caught 10 passes for 91 yards at receiver. On defense, he had 57 tackles, two fumble recoveries and two forced fumbles. This was all in only the first six games because Lynn tore ligaments in his left ankle that put him out for the rest of the season.
The cut-short junior campaign has not slowed his recruitment. Lynn has written scholarship offers from Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas, Louisville, Nebraska, North Texas, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, UCLA, and Wisconsin.
