Tyler Wilson might not be ranked among the nations elite prospect, but he is clearly one of the more heavily recruited players in the class of 2008. The 6-foot-3, 182-pound pro-style quarterback from Greenwood (AR) High School spent Sunday afternoon in Lawrence for an unofficial visit.

It might have taken longer than expected, but big-time programs eventually began to call on the talented prospect. Alabama (offer), Arizona (offer), California, Kansas (offer), LSU (offer), Minnesota (offer), Missouri (offer), New Mexico (offer), Tennessee, Hawaii (offer) and Tulsa (offer) are heavily interested in Wilson.
