Alexander impresses at camp
Texas A&M welcomed some of the top players from across Texas, and in some instances the nation, to the Aggies' Elite basketball camp Sunday and Monday at the Rec center. A lot of young prospects participated in the camp, and one of the more impressive youngsters was Dripping Springs class of 2010 forward Daniel Alexander.
Alexander first started turning heads in the drills, and then made his mark during the rest of the camp as a hard-nosed and physical player that had a way of getting to the basket and scoring points.
As a sophomore-to-be, the recruiting trail is a new experience for Alexander, and his performances the during the AAU season for Texas Ambassadors has made the 6-foot-8, 180-pound Alexander a prospect to keep an eye on.
