MSU targets headline camp
EAST LANSING - Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio and his staff had some of the nation's top seniors on campus last Saturday for first of two June elite player camps. There were also a couple of impressive JRs in attendance -- Lorenzo White Jr. and Mark Ingram Jr.
Both players were accompanied by their famous fathers who starred at Michigan State before going on to have successful NFL careers with the Houston Oilers and New York Giants respectively.
It was it was the younger White's first trip to Michigan State as football recruit. And the Ft. Lauderdale Dillard star enjoyed the time he spent at his father's old stomping grounds.
"It was my first time up here and it felt good to get out there and show the coaches what I am all about," said White Jr. "Everybody knows all about my dad up here, so it feels great to let everybody know what I am all about."
