The first of what could be several scholarship offers to come out of Iowa State's one-day camp over the weekend is known this morning. CycloneReport.com has talked to the prospect directly and gotten the story on what is also his first scholarship offer.

Carter Bykowski is a 6-foot-7, 230-pound tight end prospect from Eden Prairie (Minn.), a Twin Cities area school that has produced a number of Division I players in the past several years, including former ISU linebacker Erik Anderson. While Iowa State has missed out on some good EP players it pursued in the last couple of recruiting classes, it's undeterred in going after another one in Bykowski.
