Will Tight End Visit KU?

JayhawkSlant.com It should come as no surprise that the tight end position is a top priority for the Kansas coaching staff. To date, the Jayhawks have extended nine scholarship offers to players in the class of 2008. One player that appears to have a sincere interest in KU is Nicholas Plato, the 6-foot-6, 228-pound tight end from Edwardsville (IL) High School.
Despite missing an entire due to an injury, Plato has emerged as one of the most heavily recruited tight ends in the class of 2008. He's currently received scholarship offers from Illinois, Boston College, Colorado, Kansas, Kansas State and Oklahoma State. Florida is also in the mix.
