NC State will start its football camp Monday, and one of the players that will be there hoping to earn a scholarship offer is defensive back Darryl Hamilton from Centreville High in Clifton, Va.

Hamilton acknowledges he is still learning about N.C. State.

Virginia is Hamilton's lone offer. The 5-foot-8, 178-pounder has also seen considerable amounts of attention from North Carolina, Notre Dame, Syracuse and Duke. He feels all those schools except for Notre Dame are close to offering.
