Leonard Hubbard didn't hear from Wisconsin before the May evaluation period. In fact, no one from the Badgers staff even made in-school rounds at Sacred Heart Griffin in Springfield, Ill., where Hubbard stars at linebacker, during the evaluation period.

He did receive a phone call during the allotted period, however, from area recruiter and UW defensive line coach Randall McCray, who let Hubbard know the Badgers were interested.

The 6-foot-2, 225-pound Hubbard likes Minnesota, Iowa and Wisconsin.
