Prosser receiver catches first offer
Amidst the speculation that Cody Bruns might be too small to be a Division-I receiver, or that his record-setting numbers are inflated by small-school competition, at least one school has been able to look past these criticisms and see him for the playmaker he is.
While he has been talking to several schools, including Washington, Washington State, Boise State and Idaho, he received his first scholarship offer from Oregon State, just shortly before attending their half-day camp.
The offer was extended by the Beavers' offensive coordinator Danny Langsdorf, and Bruns says he likes the possibility of playing for OSU. "I've toured the campus a little bit, which was great. I like the city of Corvallis. It's a smaller city, but it's big enough, so I could definitely enjoy it there."
