Joiner working overtime
Most of Texas A&M's recruiting class of 2007 won't hit campus until next week when the second summer session begins in College Station, but a few made their way to Aggieland for the first summer session that started the week after Memorial Day.
They've been at A&M for a full month now, and have gotten a glimpse of what being an athlete on a major Division I college campus is all about. Former Killeen Shoemaker defensive end Brandon Joiner is one of them.
While the workouts are tougher, Joiner is hitting the books and finds himself doing better in the class room early on than he did in Killeen.
