Still In The Hunt
Daphne (Ala.) running back Reggie Hunt rushed for 1,009 yards and 12 touchdowns last season and he only played in about six games.
"What his stats could have been if we let him loose would have been phenomenal," said Daphne wide receivers coach Mike Vickery, whose father, Glenn, is the team's head coach.
Hunt was in a car accident the night before Daphne's first game so he missed the opener. In the second week, he finished with more than 300 yards of total offense against Tallahassee Lincoln. Daphne beat Lincoln, which features T.J. Bryant, the nation's No. 1 cornerback, 38-22.
