Barbour rates Sun Devils against competition
Centennial High School athlete Jarrell Barbour is the No. 2 ranked prospect in the state of Arizona by Rivals.com and some have even made a case that he deserves to be recognized as one of the Top 100 prospects in the class nationally. College coaches might agree with such distinctions, as Barbour now claims 20 scholarship offers, including from several big name national programs.
Though he hasn't spent any time on the combine and camp circuit in recent months, recruiters are very impressed by Barbour's film and the 6-foot-3, 190-pounder reports scholarship offers from such big hitters as Michigan, Nebraska, and Oklahoma.
In addition, he's highly coveted by some of the more usual suspects like Arizona State, Arizona, Colorado, Washington, UNLV, Oregon State and a host of others. But these schools may have a difficult time landing Barbour, who seems to have visions of leaving the area to play at the Division I level.
