Curtis picks Razorbacks
The Razorbacks picked up a big-time commitment Saturday afternoon from Camden (Ark.) Fairview four-star running back De'Anthony Curtis.
Curtis, 5-foot-10, 209 pounds with a 4.41 laser time in the 40-yard dash, is regarded as the nation's No. 2 all-purpose back by Rivals.com. The Natural State's No. 2 overall prospect selected the Hogs over Oklahoma State, with Tennessee coming in third, at a noon press conference at the Cardinals' field house.
"Mainly it's my hometown," Curtis said of Arkansas. "And I like the style of offense, and I was impressed with the many ways they use their tailbacks in so many different ways. Coach [Buck] James uses me in similar ways down here, catching the football, running the football, even the wildcat package. They don't just line up and hand the ball to the running back.
