Bailey discusses Michigan visit
When the recruiting process kicked off for Nashville (Tenn.) Montgomery Bell Academy offensive tackle Preston Bailey, the 6-5, 315-pound prospect identified Michigan as one of the programs he had interest in. On Monday, the Rivals.com four-star prospect got a chance to see the Michigan campus up close.
Bailey's trip to Ann Arbor coincided with a previously planned visit to the Grosse Pointe area near Detroit to visit his aunt who was celebrating a birthday and an anniversary. He has visited the Grosse Pointe area several times growing up and has become fond of the state of Michigan.
Heading into his Michigan visit, Bailey held several offers from the likes of Clemson, Georgia Tech, Miami, Ole Miss, South Carolina and Tennessee. He did not have one from Michigan yet, but that changed after a talk with the Wolverines' coaching staff.
